Champagne Shootout...

...was AWESOME!!!

It was pretty intimidating. At least for me. Both Mike and Cody performed flawlessly as expected. Just being themselves. Big thanks to Millers for putting us up there. FlashPalette came through for us and supplied T-Shirts to toss out to the frenzied crowds which was cool.

We also had a guest appearance from Ross of Flowsites and Kevin of Radiopopper with some rather surprising gifts.

Here are a couple of images from the shootout.

One wireless flash on a mono-pod using the Radio Popper set to trigger the flash. Shot down low to capture the lights in the ceiling and used a wide angle lens (16-35mm) to capture the feel of the event more!

Nice shots. I was at wppi and saw you guys, and one of you had a camera strap that let you grab your second body off your shoulder easily. What was that called and where can i get one?

These images rock! I walked in just as the first posted image (lights on ceiling) was being taken...thought for a moment that I might be in the background, but no. Anyway, simply a great shot...you had to be there to truly appreciate this shot!!

Great stuff.......

Erik wish you could have been there too. The shootout was CRAZY, horrible sound and hard to do anything positive so we are just happy to capture what we got!

Next time my friend! --- NEXT TIME!

Thank you Beaver Smith, and yes being there gives you a whole other aspect to how CRAZY this event was.

Think about shooting in a crowd of 2000+ people yelling all around you and you can not communicate with your models or other shooters, truly a very hard environment to say the least. We had fund doing it though!
