Louisiana PPA Guild Tour - Stop #1 - New Orleans

Well its come and gone - The Big Easy PPA Guild Speaking Engagement, the first of three in Louisiana. My buddy Jordan (who by the way is the person who took the images in this post)came along for the seven hour ride from my house and to help out with misc other things which truly has been great. We both got into Louisiana on Sunday afternoon and stopped off at a friends house, Shannon LeBlanc in Dutch Town between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. After some great food and people at Shannon's house the two of us finished the drive down to The Big Easy and checked into our hotel for the night. Monday morning we met up with a new friend from DWF.com Rick from CowboyUp Photography who drove us around town and showed us some amazing sites still left over from the storm almost 2 years ago and then ate at a great little local place right on Lake Pontchartrain (red beans and rice were GOOD by the way). Afterwards our buddy George Kuchler from Pro4Um came by and picked us up and showed us some more sights and of course the famous French Quarters since Jordan had never been to New Orleans before.

Monday evening I got to the PPA Guild location. Friendly people, large turnout, good food and again great people, all in all it was a great experience here in New Orleans. To my surprise I was honored by one of the best people in the PPA to come by and hear me speak, Ralph Romaguera and afterwards we all headed over to a local dark and dim bar for a few drinks.

Again I just wanted to personal say thanks for everyone in New Orleans for the warm reception and great times, now off to Baton Rouge to speak tonight!
